Word Flow Online

This 3-week live, online interactive writing workshop is designed to guide you through a writing practice that helps you release what’s ready to fall away, listen to what lingers, and move forward in a new way.

Ready to write your way forward?

A Word Flow Writing Workshop inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse!

Many people come to Word Flow feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their voice.

This three-week live, online, interactive writing workshop offers a gentle, embodied writing practice to support moving forward in a new way.

Through guided writing, quiet reflection, and poetic exploration, the act of writing becomes a way to let go, process, and make meaning, without needing to analyze or explain.

You are invited to write what falls away, listen to what lingers, and discover what is ready to move.

The cost of the three-session, live course is $60.

Word Flow is a writing workshop that has been running in-person for over a year now, and it’s now making its debut online, bringing this grounded, supportive experience to a wider community.

Courses will be offered live at 7pm-8:30pm on:
Monday, March 9th
Monday, March 16th
Monday, March 23rd

This is not a traditional writing class, and it is not about technique, grammar, or getting it right.

Word Flow is a space where writing becomes a tool for emotional release, reflection, and reconnection. The prompts are intentionally crafted to help you move emotion, soften inner tension, and allow words to emerge without pressure or performance.

The theme of A New Way Forward is inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse, a time associated with momentum, vitality, and forward movement.

After periods of shedding and stillness, Fire Horse energy invites us to move with what remains, not through force, but through alignment, honesty, and embodied truth.

You do not need to know what you are going to write before you arrive. You only need a willingness to listen inward and let the page hold what wants to be expressed.

Word Flow FAQs

Do I need to be a writer to join?

No. Word Flow is for anyone who feels drawn to writing as a way to process, reflect, or release. You do not need experience, confidence, or a polished writing practice.

Is this a traditional writing class with critiques?

No. Word Flow is not focused on grammar, technique, structure, or getting it right. It is a guided creative and reflective writing experience where the emphasis is on expression, not performance. If you are looking for a critique of your writing work, this is not the class for you.

What if I do not know what to write?

You will not be left staring at a blank page. Each session includes carefully designed sentence starters, prompts, and creative activities that help move you out of your thinking mind and into your natural creative flow. You are guided step by step, so the writing unfolds as you go rather than needing to be planned in advance. I usually never know where the prompts are going to bring me.

Is sharing required?

No. Sharing is always optional. Many people find meaning simply in writing privately. Others enjoy listening or sharing when it feels right. You get to choose.

What is the theme A New Way Forward about?

This series is inspired by times of transition. We explore what falls away, what lingers, and how to move forward without forcing. The theme is influenced by the Year of the Fire Horse, which is associated with momentum, vitality, and embodied forward movement.

Do I need to prepare anything before the session?

All you need is something to write with, something to write on, and a quiet space where you can be present for yourself. And maybe a cup of tea:)

What if I miss a session?

No worries! The Zoom link and recording will be emailed after each session so you can watch, reflect, and write on your own time if you can’t attend live.

ABOUT ME

About Eileen Anne

Eileen Anne is a poet, author, and lifelong teacher who has spent over a decade guiding people back to their voices through writing. She has taught creative expression in public schools, online spaces, and community settings, always with a focus on safety, presence, and honest self-expression.

She is the author of Extraordinary Inner Light, a poetry collection centered on healing trauma, self-reconnection, and realignment with one’s inner voice. Her work is rooted in the belief that writing can be both creative and restorative, offering a way to process experience and return to oneself without force or performance.

For the past year, Eileen has been leading Word Flow as an in-person writing workshop, where a small, supportive community has formed around writing as a tool for emotional release, reflection, and reconnection. Word Flow grew directly from her own lived experience with writing as a healing practice and from years of witnessing what becomes possible when people are given the right prompts and the freedom to follow their words.

At heart, Eileen is a teacher. Her facilitation is gentle, grounded, and intuitive, shaped by experience, deep listening, and trust in the creative wisdom that emerges when people are supported rather than pushed.
